KEEPING YOU SAFE:
The safety of our guests and staff at Affinity Devon is our number one priority. We have followed and adhered to government guidance at every stage and have implemented every recommendation to ensure that we offer the safest environment possible.
We have introduced floor markings, posters and banners to assist our guests in keeping socially distant while they’re at Affinity Devon. We will monitor guest numbers so that we can maintain social distancing within the centre and there is a one-way system to help guide our guests around Affinity Devon. We would kindly ask that you please keep to the right when making your way around the centre.
Our Centre Cleaning team will be carrying out extensive scheduled cleaning of Affinity Devon to ensure the safety of our guests. We have also introduced hand sanitising stations at our entrance.
OUR FACE COVERING POLICY:
In line with Government guidance, anyone visiting Affinity Devon must wear a face covering when entering and walking around the centre and shops. A face covering is something which safely covers the nose and mouth; visitors can buy reusable or single-use face coverings as well as also use a scarf, bandana, religious garment or hand-made cloth covering but these must securely fit round the side of the face. There are some exceptions, these being children under 11, people with disabilities or those with breathing difficulties.
If you have forgotten your face mask, don’t panic! Speak to a member of our team and they will be able to provide you with a fabric face covering for your current and future visits with us. All we ask is for a small donation to Chemo Hero, our charity of the year. They will also be available in selected stores and from the Centre Management Office whilst stocks last.
POLICIES IN STORES
Each store will have their own policy, so you may be refused entry into a store unless you have a medical condition which restricts you from wearing one. You may also encounter some staff in our stores who are not wearing a mask. Again, this will be down to each individual store to state if wearing a mask will be compulsory for their staff, as the Government has not issued this as a mandatory measure to retail staff.
Each store will be operating their own social distancing measures which will include limiting the number of people inside each unit and a few will require you to sanitise your hands on entry. If you arrive and a store is full, please queue outside the store on the markers provided to help us maintain social distancing. Please be patient if this happens as all measures are for the safety of all in the centre.
We know that the experience will feel different, however we hope these measures will help provide all our visitors with additional reassurance.
