How to shop safely

In coherence with Government guidelines, Affinity Staffordshire are working towards creating a safe, shopping environment for all of our visitors and staff, and have been recognised as ‘Good to Go’ by Visit England, the National Tourist Board of England.

We advise those that are travelling to adhere to their local Covid-19 guidelines accordingly. If you are local, you can still visit the Centre providing you are keeping within your social bubble. From 17th May 2021, up to 6 people or 2 households will be able to meet indoors. We advise to sign in to our Centre via our QR codes placed around the mall. This can be done by using the NHS Covid-19 app which is free to download from the app store.

Aside from our existing cleaning regimes, a number of additional measures have been introduced to keep all visiting and working in the centre as safe as possible.

  • Social distancing markers.
  • Sanitising stations are available around the mall and in stores.
  • Store capacity limitations and queueing systems have been put in place.
  • Thorough and additional cleaning regimes including special focus on touch points.

When customers are visiting our Centre, to help keep everyone safe, we advise customers to do the following:.

  • Keep your distance.
  • Use contactless where possible.
  • Scan our Track & Trace QR codes around the Centre.
  • Wear your face covering at all times (unless you are exempt or are sitting down to eat/drink).
  • Sanitise your hands as you enter the Centre and relevant stores.
  • Use the sanitising equipment provided to you for baskets and trolleys.
  • Stay local, shop local. If you are a customer who is in a different Tier, we advise that you do not visit our Centre unless absolutely necessary!
